Chapter Four: Leaving the Port

The port just like Majesta was crowded with Merchants and soldiers. It was clear were they needed to go as half of the port was reserved for soldiers. As they got near the gate, the guards moved away from the gate and saluted them. When they entered the gate was closed behind them. Many soldiers were carrying crates full of weapons onto boats and off of boats. All the army boats were loaded with cannons and magic weapons and refortified with armor.

Across from them was a two story building made of wood, and a sign reading Dock Manager on the side. “We need to talk to the Dock Manager, he looks over all boats that dock, military or not” the knight said. So they walked over to the building making sure not to walk in front of soldiers carrying crates. They opened the door and the dock manager greeted them.

She was a middle-aged women wearing only a white shirt and shorts, short brown hair, big blue eyes and not looking as if she would be working at a port. They walked over to the counter she was at with piles of paper. “Kaldun, odd to see you out of Majesta… What are you doing here?” she asked. Kaldun replied “Yeah, it’s not too often Nania… We are sort of on a mission…” The Knight stepped forward closer to the counter “We need a ship, that is heavily defendable and is going to Marelock. This is an order from Commander Elvin, and Grinix.” Nania put her arms on the counter and kept her head up with them and then took a piece of paper from the pile.

”Is that so huh…” she said as she looked over the paper “Well I am sorry but we don’t have any free ships, but we have one already going to be leaving for Marelock and is what you need to defend against any enemy ships.” Ken responded “That’s alright, which boat is it?” she looked out the window closets to her “It is the one closest to the gate and is the biggest one.” Nania began to write something down on a small paper and then handed it to Ken. “Give that to the tall knight with the helmet that has a gold lining and he should let you on. “Thanks” replied Ken.

They walked out of the building and began to head to the boat. The knight stopped as they were walking “Well, I guess I better get back to Trinity now as you guys seem to be set.” Kaldun was the one to reply before Ken “Thank you, your help is appreciated.” As the knight began to walk away Ken stopped him “Hey before you go what is your name?” The knight turned and answered “My name is Engale Voloask. Maybe we will meet again?” Ken replied “Maybe…”

Engale left the soldier section and then headed back to Trinity. Ken and Kaldun headed over to the ship and when they reached the Knight, they gave him the note. He read it and then let them on the boat were they would wait. Hours passed and finally the boat was ready to, the boat was filled with soldiers and mages and soon the boat moved away from the dock and they began to head to Marelock.
